Horizons (A Family Service Alliance)

Our Purpose To meet the growing needs of our community by providing a client-centered, holistic health approach to increase our clients' well-being. Our Impact Through its own work, and in partnership and collaboration with other organizations, Horizons seeks to: * Reduce food insecurity for area families * Decrease barriers to employment * Improve financial stability of residents Our Mission Instill hope, strengthen communities, and brighten futures by providing life changing services to under served populations. Our Shared Values Integrity • Compassion • Inclusivity Horizons, A Family Service Alliance, with its headquarters at 819 5th Street SE in Cedar Rapids, provides a variety of human services across East-Central Iowa including Financial Health and Wellness, Neighborhood Transportation Service, Meals on Wheels, Elder Services, Community-Based Family Support, and the Survivors Program for families of homicide victims. Hundreds of dedicated volunteers share their time and talents which enable us to serve many more people in Iowa communities.
