The Sanitas Virgen del Mar University Hospital, located in the heart of Madrid's financial district, has been part since 2014 of the growing Sanitas hospital network, which is made up of three hospitals in the Spanish capital and one in Barcelona. As part of Sanitas' commitment to innovation and digitalisation, two of our company's hallmarks, in recent years the hospital has undergone a profound transformation of its facilities, as well as modernisation of its information systems and technological and diagnostic equipment, which has enabled it to position itself as a benchmark in the M-30 ring road. Thanks to this drive, the centre now has a wide range of services with more than 500 first-class professionals, 68 modern single rooms, a completely renovated Emergency Department with state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment, as well as a surgical block and a first-class Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
