Manas is an international organisation committed to promoting healing-centred responses to mass violence. We are dedicated to enhancing the work of organisations dedicated to the Justice and Recovery from mass violence by providing psychological insights rooted in cultural understanding. By embedding further psychological understandings within organisations' practice and amplifying the voices of the most marginalised within their contexts, we foster more effective recovery while also helping organisations achieve their specific goals in tackling mass atrocities. Our team of MHPSS professionals with clinical and cultural expertise use a trauma-informed approach to craft more impactful interventions through services: * Research - We build bridges between action and research * Strategic Guidance - We facilitate the recovery from collective and extreme violence * Strengthening practices - We enable a trauma-informed practice of professionals * Strategic advocacy - We empower survivors to find their voice in advocacy platforms Our vision is of a just world that allows all individuals can flourish, free from violence, and have equitable access to healing. We are committed to creating spaces where everyone feels seen, heard, and supported in their journey towards recovery.
