Our Mission is to save lives and benefit the wellbeing of pets and their people with kindness, innovation, and leadership. Serving our community since 1931, the Humane Society of Sonoma County is a donor supported safe haven for animals. We’re dedicated to bringing people and companion animals together for a lifetime of love. The animals in our care receive medical treatment (including spay/neuter surgery) and behavior support on their journey to adoption. And adoption is just the beginning! As a resource to our community, we offer dog training classes and pet behavior assistance to help ensure the success of each adoption and strengthen the human/animal bond. Our weekly Low-Cost Spay/Neuter clinics, Community Veterinary Clinic, and donation-supported Pet Food Pantry help owned pets stay safe, healthy and with the families who love them. Our Humane Education Program nurtures compassion for animals for through youth summer and winter camps. Additionally, our outreach efforts and volunteer opportunities foster engagement and sustained support for our lifesaving programs. With your help, we give hope to every animal. The Humane Society of Sonoma County has two locations in Sonoma County; 5345 Hwy 12 West in Santa Rosa and 555 Westside Rd. in Healdsburg.
