The Independent Florida Alligator

The Alligator has been the student newspaper for the University of Florida since 1906. The Independent Florida Alligator is the largest student-run newspaper in the United States, with a daily circulation of 14,000 and readership of more than 21,000. The Alligator has been financially and editorially independent from the university since 1973.
