The Institute de Biologie Structurale is a research centre, possesses cutting edge facilities and hosts visiting scientists and students. It develops new methodologies for integrative structural biology. Its teams are interested in the molecular mechanisms involved in interactions between host cells and pathogens, in redox and energy conversion complexes, in intrinsically disordered proteins and membrane proteins. The IBS is a mixed research unit, jointly operated by CEA, CNRS and Université Joseph Fourier, located in Grenoble, France.
