Junior Achievement Nigeria (JAN) is a member of Junior Achievement Worldwide (JAWW), the oldest economic empowerment non-governmental organization in the world, established in 1919 and operating in more than 120 countries. Since 1999, JA Nigeria has positively impacted over 1 million students in more than 6,000 schools across all 36 states including the FCT, with the invaluable assistance of over 7,000 dedicated volunteers. At Junior Achievement Nigeria, we envision a future where young individuals between the ages of 5 and 35 thrive through our four Core Pillars: Financial Literacy, Digital Literacy, Entrepreneurship, and Work Readiness. Our programs, which are provided free of charge, bridge the gap between academic learning and practical skills required in the business ecosystem. Headquartered in Lagos, with a regional office in Port Harcourt, JAN is guided by a diverse Board of Directors comprising representatives from esteemed organizations such as the Aliko Dangote Foundation, Channels Media Group, Verraki Partners, First Bank Nigeria, Access Pensions, CitiBank, SLB West Africa, Google, Deloitte, Agile Communications Limited, and Future Africa.
