The Kenya School of Law is an academic institution established under section 6(2) of the Council of Legal Education Act (Cap. 16A Laws of Kenya) as read together with Paragraph 2 of the Second Schedule of that Act. The mandate of the School includes among others, organizing and conducting various programmes, courses, and research projects related to law. As a Semi-Autonomous Government Agency the School is also expected to engage in income generating activities, to supplement the grant it receives from the Government.
