Khazar University

Founded in 1991 by Prof. Hamlet Isakhanli, Khazar University became one of the first private universities in Eastern Europe, The Caucasus, Central Asia and the first in Azerbaijan to introduce Western-style, research-oriented higher education. The university applies a student-centered educational model where the main language of instruction is English. Khazar University hosts five schools (listed below): - Engineering and Applied Sciences - Economics and Management - Education - Humanities and Social Sciences - Summer School With more than 3,000 students and 400 academic staff members, Khazar University strives for the excellence in education. It is a private educational institution for undergraduate, graduate, professional, and doctoral (research) studies promoting advanced knowledge and theory as well as educational policy and development in the Republic of Azerbaijan.
