Department of Clinical Research, University of Southern Denmark

The Department of Clinical Research (KI) serves as the university partner and organisational framework for clinical research at OUH Odense University Hospital, Svendborg, and Nyborg Hospital, as well as the Psychiatry sector of the Region of Southern Denmark located in Odense. Additionally, KI oversees medical education at SDU. Researchers employed at KI and working at OUH conduct the research. Many are in dual roles that integrate clinical practice and research. Their proximity facilitates unique opportunities for interdisciplinary research across various specialties and professional groups, including medicine, nursing, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, chiropractic, and pharmacy.
