Kuwait Investment Office

The Kuwait Investment Office (KIO), which is part of the Kuwait Investment Authority, was established in 1953 and is the world's first sovereign wealth fund. Based in the City of London, the KIO actively manages funds on behalf of the State of Kuwait for the benefit of the future generations of Kuwait. KIO is a long term global investor in equities, fixed income, and alternative investments including infrastructure.
