Longford and Westmeath Education and Training Board (LWETB)

Longford and Westmeath Education and Training Board (LWETB) provides a broad range of education and training services across the two counties. We manage and operate 8 second-level schools with over 3200 post-primary students, 12 further education and training centres, and a range of adult and further education programmes delivering education and training courses. LWETB has over 1000 staff and operates on a budget of €70 million.
