Layton Rahmatulla Benevolent Trust - LRBT

246 employees

The Layton Rahmatulla Benevolent Trust (LRBT) is a nonprofit organization devoted to the prevention of curable blindness and impaired vision in people who live around the poverty line in Pakistan. Although 80% of blindness is curable, of which most cases are caused by cataract, a lack of well-equipped facilities, along with the inability to afford treatment, expands the pool of blindness. We provide surgical and treatment options for a range of eye-related ailments including cataract, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and corneal issues, among others. We now operate 20 Hospitals and over 50 clinics nationwide. On average, over 10,200 patients visit our OPDs and 1100 surgeries were performed every working day. LRBT is the major provider of eye care in the country, impacting and improving the lives of countless patients across Pakistan.
