Lucknow Metro Rail Corporation Limited abbreviated to LMRC, is a state-owned company that operates the Lucknow Metro in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. It is headquartered at Vipin Khand, Gomti Nagar. Apart from operating Lucknow Metro, LMRC also provides consultancy services for Metro projects in Uttar Pradesh. LMRC, in association with RITES, has prepared Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) for Metro in other cities of Uttar Pradesh. LMRC is also currently working as an interim consultant for implementation of Kanpur Metro and Varanasi Metro projects.
