Malvern Hills District Council provides services for over 78,000 residents in the district. Our vision is to enhance the Malvern Hills District as a destination to explore and an outstanding place to live and work. To achieve this we have produced our Five Year Plan. This sets out a number of actions to be completed by 2025 under our three priority areas - Our Communities, Our Economy and Our Environment. Our staff are at the heart of what we do, and as a result, we are always looking to recruit, develop and retain the very best talent we can find. That's why, as well as a satisfying job, we offer a range of attractive benefits, such as flexible working arrangements, generous holiday entitlements, a pension scheme, plenty of opportunities for personal development, and discounted gym membership. MHDC shares a Chief Executive/Managing Director and a joint management team with neighbouring Wychavon District Council. Whilst the two councils retain their own political structures and distinct identities, the joint management structure allows us to maximise the opportunity to deliver a wide range of good value services to our customers and communities, and operate and develop shared services and partnership arrangements with each other and with other councils.
