Mei Avivim is a water corporation of Tel Aviv - Jaffa. Mei Avivim was established in January 2010 in order to improve and streamline the water and sewage infrastructure of the city. Mei Avivim was established in accordance with the Water and Drainage (2001) law, according to which Israel committed local authorities to establish public service companies within their borders, which will provide qualitative water and sewer service . The company operates under the full ownership of the Tel Aviv - Jaffa. Mei Avivim cooperate with other companies such as the municipal water network, which provides 95% of the the water to tel aviv, the water authority, which oversees and controls activities and sets the water rates for all water corporations in Israel. Mei Avivim invest resources in order to improve water and sanitation services and making them better including reducing water loss, restoration of water and sewage infrastructure, connecting new neighborhoods to water and sewage, learning and bringing new technologies and leading urban water economy while improving and streamlining the service to customers.
