Metrobank Foundation, Inc. (MBFI) was established on January 8, 1979 by Dr. George Ty Siao Kian. As the corporate social responsibility arm of the Metropolitan Bank & Trust Company (Metrobank), MBFI implements programs that recognize excellence in key sectors of the society and maintains dynamic partnerships with different organizations to provide services for the marginalized.
