90 employees

Misurata Free Zone (MFZ) is the No. 1 leading free zone in Libya. It was established in 2000 as the first free zone in the country on a total area of 2576 hectares with a future expansion plan to cover a total area of 20000 hectares. MFZ owns the largest and the most commercially active seaport in Libya, as it accounts for about 60% out of the country’s non-oil trade volume. MFZ provides an ideal investment base for both local and foreign investors where all taxation, customs, trade and monetary formalities are deregulated. With its strategic geographical location in the middle of the southern bank of the Mediterranean basin, MFZ further enables its clients and partners to reach regional and international markets quickly and with highly cost-efficiency.
