Wojskowe Zakłady Elektroniczne S.A., part of the Polish Armaments Group since 2014, is an excellent example of a successful transformation of an entity whose main area of activity for several decades was primarily the repair and overhaul of military electronic equipment of Soviet and domestic production. The challenges faced by the Polish Armed Forces and the Polish defense industry following Poland’s accession to NATO forced evolutionary changes also at WZE S.A., which resulted in the expansion of their offer. Recent years have been a period of revolutionary changes, thanks to which the company has now acquired the ability to provide comprehensive support for the operation of complex missile weapons systems and has launched the production of military electronic devices under offset agreements and business contracts with foreign partners. The company is in the implementation phase to begin production of guided missile systems.
