About NAD Nassau Airport Development Company (NAD), the company that manages and operates Lynden Pindling International Airport (LPIA), is a Bahamian company, owned by the Government of The Bahamas and managed by Vantage Group, making LPIA part of Vantage’s worldwide network. NAD is responsible for the majority of LPIA’s infrastructure including parking lots, terminals, runways and taxiways, and all revenue generating and commercial development projects. As a private company, NAD receives no government guarantees or grants and is a self-sustaining commercial entity based on international best practices. About LPIA As the main international gateway to The Bahamas, Lynden Pindling International Airport (LPIA) is the fourth busiest airport in the Caribbean. Named after Sir Lynden Pindling, the first Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas, the airport sits just west of the City of Nassau and a short drive from some of the finest resorts and hotels in the world. Services include scheduled and charter flights to the United States, Canada, Europe and Latin America. In 2019, LPIA served over 4 million passengers. The Nassau Airport Development Company (NAD), a Bahamian company owned by The Government of The Bahamas and operated by Vantage Group, currently manages and operates the airport under a 30-year lease.
