Arid Lands Resource Management Project II came to a close in 2010 and has been succeeded by The National Drought Management Authority (NDMA)…..Legal Notice Number 171 of November 24, 2011. NDMA is a specialized and permanent institution that provides a platform for long-term planning and action as well as a mechanism for solid coordination of drought management and mitigation of effect of climate change across Government Departments and with all other stakeholders.
