Peacebuilding and Social justice organization. We empower the population with opportunities to become active citizens. Never Again Rwanda (NAR) is a human rights and peacebuilding organization that was founded in response to the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi. NAR took on the responsibility of addressing the divisions that existed between young Rwandans after the genocide. Through participation in clubs and associations as well as various programs, NAR engages citizens and provides opportunities for them to put their intellect and ideas to work. NAR develops the capacity of citizens to be leaders, and empowers them to build sustainable peace and development in their nation and the Great Lakes region at large.
