What started as a single laboratory has grown into one of the leading outpatient laboratory and diagnostic facilities in the country. In 1996, a group of medical doctors came together to fulfil the idea of building a medical laboratory to serve the Filipino community and to advance the philosophy of helping the public achieve better health. Thus in 1996, the first New World Diagnostics was established as a secondary free-standing laboratory located along D. Tuazon Street in Quezon City and in April 2006, it was successfully categorized by the Department of Health – Bureau of Health and Facilities Services (DOH-BHFS) as a tertiary institution-based laboratory. Now with over 16 branches and growing, New World Diagnostics is present in 8 cities within Metro Manila (Quezon City, Manila, Malabon, Makati, Pasig, Las Piñas, San Juan, Paranaque), in Baliuag Bulacan, in Davao City, in Dagupan, Pangasinan, and in Tagaytay City. Soon to open branches in Lingayen Pangasinan, Cebu City, Tarlac City, and Lipa Batangas. Employs over 400 professionals throughout the country. Services thousands of patients and companies every month.
