NEWPLAN GROUP

1995 Registered as NORPLAN Uganda Limited, a JV between NORPLAN of Norway and Lawrence Levy Omulen. 2008 Changed name to NEWPLAN Limited. 2009 Become a Ugandan company following the management’s acquisition of the majority shares. 2014 Multiconsult ASA Norway, acquired the NORPLAN AS 40% stake in the company. 2016 NEWPLAN Consulting Engineers & Planners established as a subsidiary to serve the Rwanda market. 2017 Became 100% owned by Ugandans (NEWPLAN Group Limited - 90%, Employees – 10%). 2019 NEWPLAN Infrastructure established as a branch to serve the Kenya market.
