Nittfest

NITTFEST is the annual inter-departmental cultural extravaganza of National Institute of Technology, Trichy. Founded in 1993 as a dance competition, it has now grown to encompass 80+ events, with active participation from the 9000-strong student community on campus. Every year, NITTFEST hopes to bring down some of the most inspiring, talented, and accomplished individuals worldwide to get to know them on a personal level and draw motivation and encouragement from their journey to success. Our fest has previously hosted talks and guest lectures by other notable figures, like Andrea Jeremiah, Ashok Selvan, GV Prakash, Kishen Das, Sudha Kongara, Gautham Vasudev Menon and the entire cast and crew of Ponniyin Selvan. We’ve had the honor of commemorating 63 years of Dr. Kamal Haasan in Cinema, where he graced the campus with his presence and gave an insightful interview which was then followed by the concert by Pradeep Kumar’s soulful music. NITTFEST is committed to serving the community and promoting social awareness. Each edition features a dedicated social responsibility cluster designed to address pressing issues and offer innovative solutions through engaging activities.
