Ocean Mist Farms has been in relentless pursuit of excellence since our founders came here from Italy over 100 years ago in 1924 and began growing artichokes in the fertile and nutrient-rich Castroville fields, cooled naturally by Monterey Bay breezes. A century – and four generations – later, we are the largest grower/shipper of artichokes in North America. We remain committed to the same level of service and quality standards that our forefathers established a century ago.
