Oman National Investments Development Company SAOC (formerly known as the National Investment Funds Company) was established in 1998 by Royal Decree No. 81/98, with the exclusive mandate to establish and manage investment funds. With the economic developments witnessed in the Sultanate of Oman over the years, the company gained significant expertise throughout its successful journey. Subsequently, Royal Decree No. 55/2013 was issued, allowing the company to expand its investments into diverse sectors such as industry, tourism, services, real estate development, and others. As part of these updates and to strengthen its developmental identity, the company adopted the name “TANMIA” as its commercial brand, reflecting its vision and future goals to enhance sustainable economic development in the Sultanate of Oman.
