Pak Matiari – Lahore Transmission Company Pvt Ltd. (PMLTC) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Electric Power Equipment & Technology Co. Ltd (CET). The Company (PMLTC) is executing the project of ±660 kV HVDC Transmission Line with transmission capacity of 4000MW of power from South to Northern Pakistan. It is Pakistan's first high-voltage direct current (HVDC) transmission line, as well as the first BOOT (build-own-operate-transfer) transmission project developed by a foreign investor, with a 25-year operation period and providing economical solution for large distance bulk power transfer with low losses and enhanced system reliability. We achieved the Commercial Operation Date (COD) on 1st September, 2021 and now the project is operating on full swing.
