Pharmacy (from the Greek φάρμακον/pharmakôn meaning both remedy and poison) is the science concerned with the conception, mode of action, preparation and dispensing of medicines. This dispensation takes into account possible drug interactions between chemical molecules or interactions with edible products. It also allows the verification of doses and/or possible contraindications. It is a branch of biology, chemistry and medicine at the same time.
