The Philippine Exporters Confederation, Inc. (PHILEXPORT) is the country’s dominant exporters organization which is mandated, through the Export Development Act of 1994, to strengthen the country’s export industry through its export promotion and development programs. It is a non-stock, non-profit service organization. To date, it has a membership 4,000, including companies belonging to 20 regional and provincial chapters and 52 industry associations which have affiliated themselves with PHILEXPORT. They are represented by 17 Trustees on the Board, elected every two years by their sectoral members. In fulfilling its mandate, PHILEXPORT implements a number of institutional and special projects and services, including: 1. Policy Advocacy 2. Export Advisory and Facilitation 3. Project Development and Monitoring 4. Information Collection and Dissemination 5. One-Stop Export Documentation 6. Client Profile Registration System (CPRS) 7. Bonded Warehousing Operations
