The PNP Chaplain Service was established through NAPOLCOM Resolution Number 92-20 dated 23 July 1992 creating a non-military Chaplain Service in the PNP to provide pastoral and religious services, spiritual guidance and counseling to the PNP Personnel and their dependents regardless of religious affiliation. It is also mandated to provide counseling to PNP personnel particularly those with family and administrative related problems. The office is also tasked by the Integrity Committee of the National Advisory Group for Police Transformation and Development to be part of the program that will provide the necessary moral, ethical and professional values to address issues of PNP personnel involved in nefarious activities. The PNP Chaplain Service is the key for the PNP to realize genuine transformation.
