Pierre Yovanovitch is a French interior architect and furniture designer. He founded his interior architecture practice in Paris, France in 2001. With offices and galleries in both Paris and New York City, Pierre Yovanovitch oversees a team of 120 employees with projects that span globally from residential, hospitality, set design and commercial undertakings. In May of 2021, following two decades of creating custom furniture for his interiors, Pierre Yovanovitch launched his own furniture brand, Pierre Yovanovitch Mobilier. Known for his signature “made-in-France” aesthetic, Pierre Yovanovitch Mobilier combines a made-to-measure approach with superior craftsmanship, materiality and sustainable sourcing efforts to offer luxury furniture and lighting. Central to his interior architecture work is Pierre Yovanovitch’s passion for contemporary art and historic design. An avid collector himself, Yovanovitch incorporates contemporary artworks, early 20th century American and European design, as well as commissioning established and emerging artists to create site-specific pieces. Pierre Yovanovitch released his first monograph with Rizzoli in 2019 and has consecutively been recognized on Architectural Digest’s AD100 list and Elle Decor’s A-List, among other accolades. In 2024, Pierre Yovanovitch Group announced the acquisition of the historic French furniture and manufacturing entity, d’Argentat, and its subsidiary, ECART International founded by Andrée Putman. This strategic development allows PY Group to vertically integrate their manufacturing and perpetuates the brand’s commitment to exceptional French craftsmanship and furniture design.
