The State of Kuwait started implementing pension systems on 1/1/1955 within the system of employees and retirement in the government, then the first independent pension law was issued by Decree Law No. (3) for the year 1960, which began to be applied on 1/4/1960 and included government employees from Civilians and military personnel, and then it was followed by an independent law for pensions and retirement benefits for the military personnel issued by Decree Law No. (27) for the year 1961, which came into effect on 9/9/1961
