Established in 1924, Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law is one of the largest law colleges in the country offering a 3 year LL.B. course. With an impeccable teaching faculty, a strong undergraduate student body, and an illustrious alumni base, CLC has been consistently ranked among the top law schools in India and has also been ranked second in the country by the India Today-Nielson survey of 2016. Every student in CLC has obtained at least one undergraduate degree prior to joining the LL.B. course, and many of them have multiple Masters level degrees and/or work experience in varied fields. The alumni list bears the testament to the role CLC had to play in feeding the Bar and Judiciary as well as other avenues for legal professionals all over the country for the past decades. Even with all its rigorous examination systems, extensive participation in moot courts, research papers, lectures, seminars and an untiring effort towards free legal aid, CLC stands apart from other 3 year law programs because of its exemplary placements. The Placement Assistance Council, PAC, has been providing students with reputed placements and internships. PAC is a student run body, which aims to act as an interface between the students and the recruiters. The team helps students explore career opportunities by helping them connect with the leading names in the legal fraternity. The inherent characteristics of a CLC student – legal proficiency, inquisitiveness and teamwork, are reflected in the working of this team. The team is recruited through rounds of resume screening and interviews. PAC adopts various techniques to make the placement process smooth and in the best interests of the students as well as the recruiters.
