Politeknik Sultan Idris Shah

Politeknik Sultan Idris Shah (PSIS), formerly known as Politeknik Sabak Bernam (PSB), is the 17th polytechnic established by the Ministry of Education Malaysia. PSB commenced operations on May 16, 2003. Located in Sungai Lang, Sungai Air Tawar, Sabak Bernam, Selangor, the campus spans 99.4 acres and is equipped with various infrastructures befitting a higher education center. On December 1, 2005, PSB was inaugurated by His Majesty Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj Ibni Almarhum Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Alhaj and bestowed with its new official name, Politeknik Sultan Idris Shah (PSIS). The establishment of PSIS aligns with the government's policy to produce more high-quality semi-professionals to meet the needs of both the public and private sectors.
