PRAGOPROJEKT, a.s. is a project engineering company with the both wide domestic and international experience in the field of traffic and engineering constructions. The company is Czech and fully independent. Headquarters are located in Prague, regional project studios are based in České Budějovice, Karlovy Vary, Liberec and Ostrava. The company operates in the field of engineering design in the Czech republic since 1969. The main area of expertise is the preparation of transport infrastructure constructions - motorway and road constructions, city roads, building structures, bridges, tunnels, collectors, railway and urban rail traffic, water management constructions and other related constructions. We also provide project processing including economic evaluation of investments using the HDM-4 method, preparatory and exploratory works (surveying, engineering and geological prospecting, traffic studies, environmental studies and evaluation) and its assessment. We further provide complete engineering services including property and law activities, supervision of large constructions and construction management. Our company develops and provides for purchase its own software systems (RoadPAC for motorway and road design and KanVOD for design of sewage, pipelines and other underground linear structures including BIM support). We further take part in the development of technical regulations in the field of infrastructure (directives, templates, methodology and others). Based on the framework agreement established with the Czech office for Standards, Metrology and Testing (ÚNMZ) our company has gained the CTN licence to be named “Centre for Technical Standardization”.
