Programa Nacional de Fiscalizacion de Transportes

The National Enforcement & Control in Transportation Program is a nationwide institution that oversees and upholds the transit law in Chile. It applies to all ground transportation and has over 250 field inspectors that control several issues, like safety and regulation, fair payment in public transportation, technical revisions to light and heavy vehicles. Its headquarters are in Santiago and has offices in the major cities.
