Project Management Unit - PIFD, A project of Ministry of Commerce, GoP

Ministry of Commerce and Industries, Islamabad’s was approved a project namely, “Purchase of Equipment, Furnishing, Curriculum Development and Training of Pakistan Institute of Fashion & Design (PIFD) Lahore” in 2007 at the total cost of Rs.755.747 million. The main objective of the project is the up gradation of PIFD in order to enable it to sustain as a competitive university with global credentials, PMU aims procurement of Machinery & Equipment, I.T Equipment, and Furniture & Fixtures etc for specialized courses of studies. It has been completed in December, 2018 to achieve all physical and financial targets.
