PT Pertamina Port and Logistics, also known as “PPL”, with its status as a subsidiary of PT Pertamina Trans Kontinental which started its work as a Loading and Unloading Company (Logistics Service). The company was originally founded under the name PT Peteka Karya Samudera on February 10,1986. In 2011, the Company obtained a Port Business Entity license from the Ministry of Transportation (Guide, Delay and Port Operation), in accordance with the Decree of the Minister of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia No. KP 255 of 2011. Then, starting June 8, 2022, in accordance with Deed No. 05 dated June 08, 2022, the name PT Peteka Karya Samudera changed to PT Pertamina Port and Logistics.
