Quezon Science High School

The QSHS is an educational institution that primarily offers science-centered and advanced mathematics curriculum to exceptional high school students in the province for free. Its main objective is focused on holistic development of their abilities, skills, and inclination to science and technology preparing them to pursue careers that would significantly contribute to the advancement of Quezon Province and the country as a whole. The QSHS most effective and managed by a and dynamic and collaborative leadership provided with state of the art facilities, resources and support alliances and guided by steadfast commitment of service to the province, the nation and to one another. In its pursuit of excellence in science and technology, QSHS seeks to: 1. develop among students a strong sense of Filipino identity; 2. instil among students the moral values and the spirit of service to God, country and the province of Quezon; 3. develop a strong foundation in English, Science and Math; 4. provide an intensive and advance secondary education program with emphasis on service and technology for the students of Quezon; and 5. serve as a training ground for future scientists of Quezon and the country. The major goal of the QSHS is for the holistic development of its scholars. Each scholar’s unique and innate giftedness and potentials will be recognized, harnessed and nurtured so that she will be developed to the fullest. Quezon Science High School are dedicated to teaching students to be involved, active learners who work hard, think critically and creatively, and communicate effectively. We emphasize high expectations for all students, and support them to reach their full potential in all aspects of achievement, especially in academics, arts, sports, social skills and civic participation, all of which prepare students for success in their lives after high school.
