Since its foundation in 1810, The Royal Belfast Academical Institution (RBAI) has been educating boys from across Belfast and beyond, regardless of their background. RBAI is a multi-cultural, integrated Grammar School with a reputation for providing an outstanding education for boys, with academic aspiration complemented by pastoral support and a wealth of co-curricular opportunities. Located in the heart of Belfast, RBAI comprises a grammar school with 1050 pupils between the ages of 11 and 18, and a Preparatory Department called Inchmarlo, catering for a further 150 pupils between 4 and 11 years.
