Telefono Azzurro was established 37 years ago on the initiative of Professor Ernesto Caffo, Professor of Child Neuropsychiatry at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. Since then, the Foundation has been committed on a daily basis to promoting respect for the rights of children and adolescents, encouraging their development and protecting them from abuse and violence that could compromise their well-being and growth. Every day it listens to the voices of children and adolescents, offering concrete answers to their requests for help thanks to its 24/7 national support network. It acts in emergencies linked to disasters and calamities, develops projects to support children of prisoners and promotes initiatives on the territory, in schools and among adults, focusing on prevention through education and awareness-raising, always collaborating with companies and institutions to build a culture attentive to the needs of children and adolescents in difficulty, so that no voice is left unheard.
