Saint Lucia Air and Sea Ports Authority (SLASPA) is responsible for management and regulatory oversight for the island's official ports of entry. These include 2 airports: Hewanorra International Airport & George F.L. Charles Airport; 2 sea ports: Port Castries & Port Vieux Fort and three bays: Rodney Bay, Marigot Bay and Soufriere Bay. SLASPA handles over 700,000 annual tons of sea and air cargo, facilitates more than 840,000 airline travelers over 34,000 aircraft movements, an average of 600,000 cruise passengers, 60,000 ferry passengers, over 54,000 yacht passengers and berths over 1,000 vessels
