Salem Township Hospital is a 25 bed Critical Access Hospital located in south central Illinois, 90 miles east of St. Louis. Services available include a 24 hour physician-staffed ER, 24 hour lab, radiology, state of the art cardiac and pulmonary rehab, 24 hour respiratory care, physical and occupational therapy, surgery, Rural Health Clinic and outpatient nursing clinic. Salem is located within 30 minutes of Carlyle Lake, Rend Lake, and Stephen A.
