SAND Academies Trust

We are a Gloucestershire-based mixed multi-academy trust, this means we are uniquely positioned to support both special and mainstream schools. The trust was formed in 2019 to enable and develop partnerships working across a group of schools. The Trust now consists of seven schools, Belmont School, Battledown Centre for Children and Families, Paternoster School, Sladewood Academy, The Milestone School, Calton Primary and Willow Primary Academy. By Building Inclusive Communities, we provide a wide range of support, subject expertise, and school improvement services tailored to both types of provision. Our Trust is dedicated to helping schools deliver the best possible education and care for pupils and their families. We exist to serve all young people, regardless of their background or circumstances. Our aims as a Trust are to offer the Schools of Choice, be the Employer of Choice, and the Trust of Choice. We strive to foster a culture that clearly promotes our shared purpose while celebrating and preserving the individual character and identity of each of our schools.
