In March 2014 Aberdeen Asset Management acquired Scottish Widows Investment Partnership ("SWIP"). SWIP and its subsidiaries are now part of Aberdeen Asset Management PLC. SWIP and its subsidiaries no longer forms part of Lloyds Banking Group and now forms part of the Aberdeen Asset Management group of companies.
