Shazans was created by the Ayyub family in 2000. From very humble beginnings, this hard-working Muslim family based in Preston began making samosas in the kitchen at home to sell to the local community. They had a vision to do 2 things – firstly to develop great tasting, wholesome, authentic Halal Food and secondly to make this food more accessible to everyone in the UK. Since those early days the business has built upon this legacy and stayed true to the original vision. The brand expanded into fresh poultry and red meat products in 2014 and the products were made available for sale through the national retailers. The brand is now number 1 in the UK for fresh products and has very high recognition within Muslim communities. We believe that, by sticking to our original vision, continuing to innovate, but never losing site of our humble beginnings, the brand will continue to grow and be valued by Muslim families for many years to come.
