Ship and Ocean Industries R&D Center (SOIC)

Ship and Ocean Industries R&D Center (SOIC) , established on July 1, 1976, is co-sponsored by Ministry of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Transportation and Communications, Ministry of Defense and Ministry of Education. SOIC applies its R&D achievements into five domains: marine engineering planning, engineering designs, research and development, technical services and knowledge integration services. This leads to the development of domestic marine industry, shipbuilding industry and other related industries.
