Sierra Leone Agricultural Research Institute (SLARI). The Institute was established in 2007 through an Act of Parliament as the sole government agricultural research and agricultural technology generating body, for the benefit of the farming, fishing, and forestry sectors in Sierra Leone. SLARI’s work is guided by its strategic and operational plans that are aligned with those of CORAF/WECARD and based on the integrated agricultural research for development (IAR4D) paradigm.
