In 1983, the company opened its first store in West Virginia. Today, Sleep Outfitters employs around 300 people and operates approximately 100 stores in six states (Alabama, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, Tennessee and West Virginia). Until recently, we also operated stores called Mattress King and Mattress Warehouse that have since become Sleep Outfitters. We are not just a mattress store, we outfit you for your best sleep ever.
